New York based Fousheé describes her music as alternative soul. She’s best known for starring in season 15 of The Voice. She was raised on a diet of R&B, soul, hip hop and reggae, inspired by her mother who was a drummer in a reggae band back in Jamaica. Currently, her inspiration currently stems from artists such as Chaka Khan, Frank Ocean and Solange. Fousheé has just released a single entitled ‘Make it Known’. Her vocals are naturally husky and soulful, with a hint of sass, as she assures ‘I’m worth more than just being a good wife’. The R&B backdrop for this track is beatsy and bass-heavy, but mellow, with gentle guitar plucks. 'Make it Known' is a stand-out track from this upcoming talent. -Ellie Rose-Davies
